You'll now have three finished hearts ready to string up.

  • Braid the embroidery thread into one 24" string and three 12" strings.

String the top braid to hang the Suncatcher as a Valentine Paper Craft window decoration.

  • Make a 24 inch braid for the top hanger.
  • Make 3-12 inch braids to connect the hearts.
  • Punch two holes in the top lobes of large heart (A) with a 1/8 inch hole punch.

Pull braid through to the back of each hole and tie a large enough knot so it doesn't pull through.

Favorite Product Used for This Suncatcher:

This 1/8" hole punch is one of my most used punches.

It is just large enough to allow things like thread and wire to go though. Yet it's small enough that the hole is usually not visible.

I would be lost without this hole punch!

  2. Pull braid through to the back of each hole.
  3. Measure braid for how long you want each heart to hang.
  4. Tie a knot big enough at desired hanging length so it doesn't pull through.
  5. Cut off extra thread.
