These linked heart crafts are great for handmade Mother's Day cards.

They also make quite memorable Wedding Cards.

The hearts tumble out of the card once it is opened by the recipient!

One of the best things is that the linked hearts can be removed and hung by the tassel as a decoration.

They are great to have hanging in an office, everyone who walks by seems to comment on them!

NOTE: This card uses the heart template from, "Learn to Draw a Heart and Make Your Own Templates".

Favorite Product Used for This Project: Repositionable Zots brand of glue dots are for those special times when you need to temporarily hold something. I have found that the Zots brand holds better than the Glue Dots brand.

They are a lot like the glue dots that hold on credit cards or perfume samples in magazines. These particular Zots are about the size of a dime, and they come in other sizes.

They come with free shipping, if purchased as an add on item with Prime.

Great for artistic crafters!

Here you go . . .

Here's a list of a variety of sizes . . .

Repositionable Glue Dots

Glue the solid, framed, heart down (that you previously made) onto the inside of the card (A).

  • Place the tassel over, and around, the tiny heart on the top left corner (B)
  • Glue the top linked heart at (C & D) with repositionable glue dots on the inside of the card.

Tip: The repositionable glue dots (Zots is the recommended brand) enables the recipient to remove the dangling hearts without damaging them. They simply lift the glue dot, along with the bottom heart, off of the paper and then peel the dot off of the back. They leave no residue or trace. Simply place a note in the greeting card telling them the hearts are removable to hang anywhere.

This allows the hearts to be hung by the tassel for decoration!

  • Arrange the hearts by carefully pulling into one another and placing inside the card.

The envelopes were made to match the cards by using the Envelope Punch Board by We R Memory Keepers. Just grab a sheet of paper that you used and quickly make an inexpensive envelope.

FAVORITE PRODUCT USED: This Envelope Punch Board by Memory Makers is super easy, saves money and allows you to customize envelopes for all of your cards. It makes 66 different sizes of envelopes. Best of all, it's fun!
